They were drawn together to a love of God the Father and our Lord Jesus as our Divine Shepherd. Their love is expressed and declared in Psalm 23- as the psalmist cried out: The Lord is my Shepherd!
The image of God as a Shepherd describes the love and care He has for his people. A Shepherd’s primary concern is to provide his flock with all they need for their well being. This is why our Community is called – The Shepherd’s Flock. An acknowledgement of God as our Good Shepherd who watches over us – his flock – and supplies all our needs- and supplies it in abundance!
We share a common confidence in God’s goodness expressed by the psalmist in these words : “he leads me”, “ he restores me” and “he guides me”. That is why the psalmist was able to say, “there is nothing I shall want”. The core of our Community life is based on this principle: Just as God is our Great Shepherd to his Flock so we too shall be earthly Shepherds to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
In the book of Acts 2: 42, 46-47, the early Christians formed themselves into communities: “They were faithful to the teaching of the Apostles, the common life of sharing, the breaking of bread and the prayers.
“Each day they met together in the Temple area; they broke bread in their homes; they shared their food with great joy and simplicity of heart; they praised God and won the people’s favor. And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved”

We are a Community of believers, of one mind and one heart, whose love for one another express their love and trust in God and share this with others.
We are an evangelizing community reaching out to our brothers and sisters in their homes, offices and workplaces to bring them to a personal relationship with the Lord.
We are a community whose members shall study and live the Bible as the foundation of our Community life.
With God’s help, we will make a difference.
THIS IS OUR FAITH:
TO RESPOND WITH LOVE
